We collect your name and contact details to pass your enquiry to a partner clinic so a registered doctor's team can contact you about an assessment. Your details may be shared with our partner clinic and, only if you later choose, a service connected to that clinic. We are not a clinic and don't prescribe or supply; the doctor decides. We don't sell your information. See our Privacy Policy for who we share with, how to access or correct your details, and how to complain.

What does Weight Doctor Match do?

We provide independent information for Australians considering a conversation with a registered doctor about weight management. If you choose to enquire and agree to sharing your details, we connect your enquiry with our referral partner clinic for contact about an assessment. This is a contact pathway, not a comparison of several clinics or a clinical matching decision. The clinic explains its service, and the doctor considers your individual circumstances.

We are not a clinic, do not sell treatment and do not assess your health through this website. We don’t prescribe or supply; the doctor decides. A consult does not guarantee any prescription. Completing an enquiry does not book an appointment or establish that any treatment is appropriate. You can read the information without enquiring, speak to your own GP or choose another service.

How does an enquiry work?

There are three practical stages between asking for contact and deciding whether to attend an assessment. You remain responsible for choosing whether to proceed, and the clinic is responsible for explaining its appointment arrangements.

  • 1. Read the process, cost information and who an assessment is for, then send contact details only if you choose. The sharing consent box starts unticked.
  • 2. The partner clinic calls you back about its service. Ask about the doctor, appointment format, written fees and follow-up arrangements.
  • 3. If you decide to book, speak with a registered doctor in a real-time consult. The doctor discusses your circumstances and treatment options a doctor may discuss; you decide whether to continue.

What might an assessment cost?

The $99 doctor consult is the fee for a consultation with a registered doctor only. Ask the partner clinic about follow-up fees separately. Medicare rebates may not apply, and other providers may charge separately for tests or allied health appointments. Ask for a written explanation before booking rather than treating an enquiry as an agreement to pay. There are no hidden charges to the patient from this site; the commercial relationship still requires confirmation.

Who might consider a conversation with a doctor?

An adult who has questions about weight and health, has tried lifestyle changes or would like to understand ongoing support may wish to speak with a doctor. These are reflection points, not eligibility criteria. The doctor assesses whether medical weight management suits you. Your own GP is also an option, including if you are unsure where to begin.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under 18 or have a history of an eating disorder, speak with your GP first. For urgent symptoms such as chest pain, seek medical help rather than using this form. Call 000 in an emergency. This website provides general information only, not medical advice or an emergency service.

Who receives your enquiry?

We currently use a single-partner arrangement. The commercial relationship below remains visibly marked as a placeholder, not a confirmed business detail. Read the Privacy Policy and collection notice before deciding whether to share your contact details. We do not sell your information.

We currently pass enquiries to one referral partner clinic. We are paid/related to that partner as follows: [disclosure: placeholder].
